- What’s your favourite holiday movie?
Now this is very easy- my favourite holiday movie has to be Elf. Buddy the Elf is such a ray of sunshine and his devotion to Santa and Christmas is so adorable, as well as completely and utterly hilarious. In the words of Buddy: 'The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!'
- What’s your favourite Christmas colour?
I quite like the golden colours that we see around Christmas time as they can make a room feel so warm and cosy.
- Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas morning, of course! I may be nearly 18, but there is no way on the face of the earth that I could open my presents on Christmas Eve! I love the feeling of waking up every year on Christmas Day and knowing that my presents are sitting under the tree, waiting to be opened.
- What’s your favourite winter fragrance?
I don't have a particular perfume that I wear especially for Christmas, as by the time it gets to 25th December, all my perfumes of the year have run out. However, for the last two years I have asked for the Britney Spears Fantasy Twist perfume as I love the fact that it combines two perfumes so that, in the day, wear a sweeter perfume and then mix it up in the evening by wearing a richer and more sexy perfume.
- Favourite Christmas smell?
I absolutely love the Christmas Yankee candles that have been released this year! Some of my favourites are a candle that smells of cookie dough (but it makes me very hungry!) and one more spicy smelling candle that smells of cinnamon.
- What’s your favourite holiday drink?
Again, I have to be awkward and say that I don't have a favourite holiday drink. Since I was a child, I have tended to have Pepsi with my Christmas dinner, but I've started to like more alcoholic drinks recently so I'm hoping I'll be able to have a glass or two of white wine this Christmas!
- Candy cane or gingerbread men?
- Favourite Christmas song?
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree- Brenda Lee.
- Have you ever made a snowman?
Yes, I love making snowmen! Where I live in England, we don't get hit by that much snow when it does start to fall, so my snowmen have only ever been of a child's height- so they've been more like snowchildren than snowmen.
- What is most important to you about the holidays?
To me, the most important thing about the holidays is spending time with your family and surrounding yourself with all of the people that you love so that you can have a great time and really appreciate the time you spend together. Of course, it's nice to get presents, but I think this shouldn't be considered the main part of Christmas because there is more to life than getting material possessions. The Christmas holidays are a time when we can really let go and temporarily abandon the stresses of daily life in favour of having a memorable, fun time with our loved ones.
Ok, I may not have actually been tagged for this (*cries*), but I couldn't resist doing a cheeky little post about Christmas! Coincidentally, we are in the 10 day run up to Christmas and I don't know about you- but I am rather excited. For me, Christmas is without a doubt one of the best occasions where we can all come together with our families and have a relaxing, fun filled day with the people that we care about the most. Now that I have grown up, the magic of Christmas Eve isn't quite as prominent as it was, say, 10 years ago, but I still always eagerly anticipate Christmas morning like a little excitable elf!
